Reconstruction Project in Iraq

G4S Secure Solutions Japan has been contributing to the reconstruction projects in Iraq from the security standpoint. As the Tokyo office of G4S, G4S Secure Solutions Japan has facilitated providing security solutions to Japanese companies operating in Iraq through G4S Secure Services Iraq.

The Middle East is a region in which G4S has a long-term strategic interest and an area in which it has built up a substantial presence. Investment will continue, especially in Iraq, where G4S considers it has a long-term future. G4S Secure Services Iraq was established to provide protective security services to government entities, and multi-national clients involved in the reconstruction process since May 2003. Over the time G4S Iraq has developed close relationship between the local authorities and Coalition forces as well as building local capacity and goodwill through a significant local employment programme.
